Spring is around the corner, and as we welcome longer and lighter days we want to congratulate everyone who has recently embarked on a new role. Here’s to new beginnings!

Courtney Geduldig is the new Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for National Grid. Her recent roles include Corporate Vice President, Global Government and Public Affairs at Micron Technology, Head of Government and Public Affairs at Chime and Chief Public and Government Affairs Officer at S&P Global.

Williams Racing welcomed a new Head of Communications in Craig Woodhouse. Craig joined following over four years in government as Director of Communications for BEIS and DCMS. Before this, Craig has held senior roles in agency and started his career in journalism.

Louisa Fyans has left her role as Director of Communications at The Football Association to join Age UK as their new Chief Brand and Communications Officer. Louisa began her career working for charities including NCPCC and the British Heart Foundation before joining the BBC where she worked for over 12 years.

Another charity move, David Hamilton will be leaving his role as Director of Communications and Marketing at NSPCC to join the British Film Institute as Executive Director of Engagement, Marketing and Communications and lead their ten-year strategy. David will be joining in May 2024.

Starling Bank had gained a new Director of Corporate Affairs in Will McSheehy, following a contract as Managing Director for communications agency Teneo. Will’s previous experience includes his role as Head of Communications, Global Commercial Banking at HSBC and Head of Corporate Finance News, Asia-Pacific at Bloomberg.

It was announced that Theo Bertram will be leaving his role as Vice President, Government Relations and Public Policy, Europe at TikTok to join the Social Market Foundation as their new Director. He will be joining them in May 2024.

Bevin Maguire has left her role as Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Communications and CSR at Honeywell to join American manufacturing company Applied Materials. She joins as Chief Communications Officer and Vice President Corporate Communications.

Moira Gilchrist started the year with a promotion at her current employer Philip Morris International. After being the Vice President Strategic and Scientific Communications for six years, Moira is now the Chief Communications Officer at the global FMCG business.

Across the water, Kara Gerhardt Ross began her new role as SVP and Chief Communications Officer at SAIC, the Fortune 500 technology integrator company. Kara joined after 12 years at distribution company UPS where she was VP, Strategic Communications and Public Affairs and more recently President, International, Executive and Policy Communications.
