Nigel Prideaux has joined NatWest as Group Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs. He joins from Aviva where he held the same title. In his new role, Prideaux will report directly to CEO Alison Rose.
Former Ofcom Director of Communications Chris Wynn has been appointed Director of Corporate Communications at The John Lewis Partnership. He will join in late July and will run a new team covering corporate affairs, public affairs and internal communications.
Heineken has appointed Stacey Tank as Chief Corporate Affairs and Transformation Officer. She joins from her role as Chief Communications Officer at Home Depot. Tank ran Heineken’s American corporate relations function for three years until 2015.
FTSE 100 packaging company DS Smith has appointed Wouter van Tol as Head of Sustainability and Government Affairs. He joins after three years as Global Head of Corporate Responsibility at food packaging company Huhtamäki.
Jon McLeod, Brunswick partner and head of public affairs, has left the firm for his first in-house role, and will be joining the Business Banking Resolution Service as Director of Communications. The non-profit organisation is currently in pilot phase and has been set up to resolve disputes between small and medium-sized businesses and banks.
Anna Lucuk has been appointed Director of Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability for the Western Europe Business Unit (WEBU) of Coca-Cola. Lucuk joins from Coty, where she was VP Corporate Responsibility, Issues and Crisis.
Google has appointed Karen Massin Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy EU Institutions. The former Chief Executive of BCW Brussels, led BCW’s operations in the region for six years and had been with Burson-Marsteller in Belgium for nearly 20 years.
Christian Wulff Søndergaard became Carlsberg’s new VP of Corporate Affairs as of the 1st May and will be based at their headquarters in Copenhagen. He joined from global telecoms company Telenor, where he worked in various senior roles in Europe and Asia.
Danielle Carrig joined Condé Nast as their first ever Global Chief Communications Officer, on the 26th May. She has joined Condé Nast from Vice Media Group, where she held the same role – Global Chief Communications Officer.
