Here’s a round-up of recent in-house corporate affairs moves:
Rob Cameron, Sustainability Chief Executive and Managing Partner will join Nestlé on 1st February 2020 as Global Head of Public Affairs.
Two new roles have been created and filled at top global consultancies, PWC and KPMG. Michael Stewart, former Edelman Global Vice Chair has joined PWC as Global leader of Corporate Affairs and Communications, and Chair of its Global Public Policy Board, while Tesco’s Jane Lawrie joins KPMG as Head of Global Affairs.
Chief of Corporate Affairs for Virgin Media, Brigette Trafford, left her position in October 2019 as the company plans a restructure to assemble a smaller and more agile senior team.
Lily Lin has been promoted to VP of Communications and Public Affairs at Google. She will be joining a team led by Global Communications and Public Affairs Chief, Corey DuBrowa.
Caroline Hill has been promoted to Group Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director for Landsec upon the retirement of Miles Webber.
Robin Kelly has been appointed to Group Communications and Corporate Responsibility Director for a world leader in vehicle glass repair and replacement, Belron International.
Joel Morris, previously at Coca-Cola as Director of Public Affairs, Communications & Sustainability joined Laing O’Rourke, as Head of Corporate Affairs for Europe.
Alex Moorhouse has joined Cashplus as Corporate Affairs Director after advising the business for 12 months. Alex has also previously been Group Head of Communications at the Daily Mail and General Trust Group.
Sony Music UK has appointed Jessica Carsen, previously Director of Communications for The Times, to the position of Senior Vice President of Communications.
Respected leader in government communications, Penny Fox, has left the public sector and started a new role at WWF-UK as Director of Media, PR and Artists.
Joe Rankin, previously Associate Director at MSL group has joined London City Airport as Head of Communications.
MSD, the global biopharmaceutical company, have employed Joanne Bullen as Executive Director of External Affairs for the UK. She has replaced Jessica Fine who has joined their global communications team in the US.
Tesco Bank have employed Barry Cameron as Head of Media Relations and Public Affairs. Previously, he was the Head of Communications at Standard Life Assurance.
James Crampton has replaced Heineken’s David Paterson who has moved within the Group as Regional Corporate Affairs Director, Africa Middle East, in January 2020.
ABB Head of Corporate Communications, Christoph Seider is taking on a new position at Syngenta. His new role as Head of Communications will be based in Switzerland and will commence on the 1st March.
Simon Sproule has been appointed Chief Communications Officer, effective 3rd February, by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Simon is a longstanding automotive communications professional with employers ranging from Aston Martin Lagonda to Jaguar Land rover.
